DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Summary of responsibilities
Boathouse & Facilities Management
Oversee day-to-day boathouse operations
Coordinate equipment repair (in-house or outsourced)
Manage equipment ordering and resale in accordance with institution’s capital assets protocol
Administrative Duties
Data management (Regatta Central rosters, ARMS, parent/alumni mailing lists)
Budget support and liaison to business office
Order team awards and submit student-athlete information for department, institutional, league, and IRA/IRCA award recognition
Logistical coordination of all teams across and within the boathouse
Supervise student managers and LTEs (limited-term employees)
Event Planning & Support
Organize team events (banquets, graduation, awards ceremonies)
Alumni & Fundraising
Coordinate with development office on alumni relations
Support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement
Team Operations & Travel
Plan and manage team travel logistics (hotels, meals, transportation, itineraries)
Manage all aspects of home racing (referee coordination, visiting team logistics, posting results on row2k, volunteers)
