Riverside U23 camp info can be found here and questions can go to either Trevor A. or Stephen.
The USRowing U23 application deadline is March 15th. Athletes need to submit their info through the member portal but can continue to update their erg scores until April 15th. When they edit their athlete profile, their scores will automatically transfer. Notices will start going out right after the 3/15 deadline and wrap up shortly after 4/15, and athletes will either be invited, waitlisted, or declined. The start date for camp is June 16th in OKC. New IRA website is live!
The FY25 salary survey will be sent out in early February for coaches to complete. The goal is to have review and compile the responses over the course of the spring season and have the completed survey available to everyone by IRAs (either shortly before or shortly after). Reach out to Kayleigh if you have thoughts/questions or ideas/suggestions for info to include that wasn’t part of the original survey.

Reminders
If you’re interested in helping with the salary survey or being on the junior coaches recruiting panel, reach out to Kayleigh.
If you’re an assistant coach that would like to join the legislative committee, reach out to AC.
If you have suggestions on improvements for the IRA regatta that we can pass on to the stewards, send them to Mike Irwin. This is intentionally vague because nothing is really off the table. We’re looking for anything that you think would enhance the athlete, team, spectator, coach, or racing experience.
Set a meeting with your admins to discuss the USRowing coaching requirements and connect with Chris by Wednesday, Oct. 9th to share your feedback.
We’re hosting a “new coaches orientation” call on Tuesday, October 1st at 1:30pm EST for any assistant or head coach who is new to men’s rowing, new to the IRCA, or new to coaching in general. The Zoom link is in the email Kayleigh send to the membership on Thursday, Sept. 26th.
