Reminders:
The salary survey has been sent to the primary contact for each program. Deadline for completion is Tuesday, May 31st. If there are any questions/issues, reach out to Kayleigh.
The legislative committee is looking to add 1-2 new members. Being on the LC entails following updates to NCAA legislation that affects men’s rowing, forwarding/discussing relevant legislation given to you by your department, helping coaches find answers to questions and directing them to our IRCA compliance advisors when needed, and being a point of contact for IRCA committees on any legislative/compliance matters. With all the things happening right now with NIL, gender policy updates, etc., this is a great time to be part of the committee. It’s also a great role for assistant coaches so if you’re interested, please reach out to AC Chacon.

The next P+P alumni call will be March 1st at 1pm EST. Please send Kayleigh the contact info for alums who haven’t been on previous calls but may be interested in joining this one or future ones.
The DEI Committee is looking for new leadership. We’d like to see 2-3 assistant coaches take on this role so if you’re interested, please reach out to Paul or Kayleigh.
Reminders:
Registration for the Membership Committee’s mentorship speaker series will be open through Feb. 24th or until we reach 25 sign ups. All the details, along with the sign up form, are on the membership committee page.
USRowing is looking for a group of IRCA coaches to provide feedback as they craft an updated gender policy with regards to transgender student-athlete participation. If you’re interested in participating you can reach out to Kayleigh and if you’d like more info, you can check out USRowing’s talking points over on the legislative committee page.

If you need mentorship hours for your USRowing L2 or L3 certification, the speaker series at the end of our calls will count towards those required hours. These parts of the call generally range from 20-45 minutes in length. If you have any questions, reach out to Kayleigh.

August 24th membership meeting
Updates:
AC is looking to fill two spots on the Legislative Committee. If you’re interested in being the D1 rep (to replace Eric Gehrke) or you’d like to volunteer your compliance officer to be the D1 advisor (to replace Tom Anderson from UW), please reach out to AC for more info on the specifics of each.
If you are a Division 3 coach and interested in joining the D3 committee that is headed up by Marc Mandel, please reach out to him.
Emma is continuing to work on the recruiting pipeline project and has given an update that I’ve posted over on the DEI committee page. More updates are coming as this project continues to grow and evolve so keep an eye out for more info throughout the fall. If you’d like to get involved and share the workload, please reach out to both Emma and Kayleigh for more info.
The C&C committee is asking everyone to fill out this questionnaire on the IRA regatta. If you have any questions you can reach out to Al Monte.

Tentatively, pending confirmation from the board, membership sign-ups will run from Sept. 29th through Oct. 27th.
The IRCA Coaches Calendar has been updated with all future membership and Board of Directors meeting dates. Reminder that our membership meetings have shifted to a quarterly schedule while the committees are still encouraged to meet on a monthly basis.
